This year it was all about appetizers. We had enough of all those years when we roasted a duck or whatever and made 6 different plates of food, spent hours and hours on preparations and playing it all fancy, still eating at 23:55 (without makeup and in yoga pants though, because there wasn’t any time left to clean up nicely). And than more than half of everything was left untouched because we were already stuffed after 2nd plate. The plan was good and we were determined to keep it that way. The intention was there, but of course it didn’t go down the way it was planned. In the end we were full and still eating at 2:00 am. But it was good. As good as it gets.

Food: Falafel, shiskebab, homemade wrap bread, babaganush, tahini-sesame sause, harisa, some preety damn spicy fresh chilli peppers, mixed vegetables, kajmak, homemade mayo, spring rolls, and a fantastic cheescake for dessert.
